Taghazout

Taghazout, an old Berber Village, in the Souss Massa Drâa region, was originally a place where the fishermen that lived in the foothills surrounding the mountains, used to store their fishing equipment.

Nowadays Taghazout is known for its WAVES and attracts surfers worldwide. It has become a multi-cultural haven with residents from all over the world.

Besides surfing, Taghazout offers a variety of activities like fishing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, golfing, quading in the backlands, horseback riding, camel adventures, romantic beach walks, and of course many different short or long day trips to choose from.
