Palmier

It gets its name from the two salvaged date palms acting as bed posts and the bathroom palm tables. In Morocco and throughout the Sahara, palm trees provide fruit, shade, and the sign of water in what’s generally scorched earth. These pieces were found on a neighboring beach, sun bleached and weary from their long journey crossing oceans.

Driftwood

At Munga, much of the art, furnishings, and posts are made by hand from salvaged driftwood. Over a decade, the creators of the guesthouse collected wood from the beach and dried up river beds. Date palms, argan trees, cork oak, cypress and many others are used on property. This room showcases the recycling of these once living organisms. The room has a perfect sized balcony for two with a wonderful view of panorama plage.
