We’re very happy and proud of our team for earning Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence & we would also like to thank all our guests for their trust, especially the ones who took the time to give their feedback, we will continue to strive to give our guests an unforgettable stay.
Environment:
As you probably already know, a lot of our handmade creations we decorated our boutique hotel with, such as lanterns, mirror frames and many other decorative items were made with recycled materials we collected on Taghazout beaches.
Hence, minimizing waste, recycling and protecting our environment have always been some of our main goals in this venture, so a few months ago we’ve completely banned plastic straws from our hotel & restaurants and eliminate the complementary mini toiletries in favor of larger refillable dispensers.
We’ve also reduced our reliance on electric energy from the national grid by installing photovoltaic solar panels and connecting all light bulbs in the hotel to this clean energy source.
Furthermore, we are working to install solar water heating systems to replace current electric ones which will allow us to reduce our carbon footprint.
Munga’s Kitchen:
Located at the hotel lobby level, Munga’s kitchen was recently opened & is offering healthy comfort food, menus of the day, big organic chefs salads, deliciously Big Burgers, Pizas, Pastas, freshly home prepared deserts and weekly new ideas to be tasted. It also has vegetarian and vegan options.
A full bar is also available, where we serve cold draught Casablanca beers out of the beer tap.
It’s also worth mentioning that the ingredients we use in all our kitchens (Including the Favela restaurant) are organic sourced from local farmers that share our values in responsible & sustainable farming.
